82 Bumper Lights
« on: March 07, 2016, 07:49:24 AM »
I bought an 82 bumper for my 85 and I was wondering what lights worked best to mount in the holes for fog lights.

Those lights in the 82 bumpers were park/turn signal lights. So the only think that's fits in there perfectly is the lights that are originally ment to be there. If you want fog lights there, you will have to figure something out by doing research and taking measurements and making something fit by your own design. You may just want to go to an auto parts store or go online to a 4x4 store or some place like Summit and looks at fog lights and read the physical dimensions of different lights and compare that to the dimensions of the holes in the bumper and then figure something out from there and see if you can find a set that will work.

just a fyi dont buy white ones unless you want a white light or you want to turn your amber clearance lights to a yellow/green color

I was thinking the 85 would have the lights behind the grill and you could use thease for driving lights

That could work, you could use them as driving or fog lights.
