Mine had years of mud and gunk all over and it didnt still didnt take long to clean. I didnt use a bucket, I used a old tooth brush, a aresol can of carb cleaner and a rag. I broke the carb down further than what the instructions say just because I wanted to. After I did, it wasnt necessary. I paced myself, took breaks etc and it took about half a day. Make sure your real organized and careful because if you drop something, you might not find it.
