Title: Any place to find original fabrics
Post by: Ben_Olddermin on November 23, 2022, 11:56:00 AM
Hey is there anywhere that sells the original fabrics? I have 87 truck with the tan interior. I went to a local fabric supply shop and they said they don't have it. But they were able to match it. Said the number is 674-86. Not sure if the 86 is the year we managed to find for the fabric. Either way it matched.

I found this place but not sure if they are trustworthy. Also there is no pic.

Any ideas on a place that would still have this? He said it was Empress was the type of fabric it was. And it's no longer produced. Thank you

I will give them a call. Their website is broken though. Says they only have fabric for a toyota land cruiser.

website works fine for me. I'm using Chrome...oh, I see what you are saying...for 1986.

Yeah looks like they don't have anything for 87. But even when you try 86 it's only the land cruiser.

I found the exact fabric I needed for my 85.  I haven't purchased yet.  They sent little pieces to choose from.  Aftermarket didn't reproduce the Mahoghany interior.

I have the houndstooth checker pattern in the Jimmy. I've never seen it reproduced so I think some stitching will be in order.
