What size bolt for the heater distributor box.

I just changed the heater core on my 1974 chevy pickup C10 stepside.  It has factory air.  The inside bolt, (the only easy one to get to on this job), was missing.  I would like to put the correct bolt in without damaging threads.  Does anybody know what bolt to put in that location?
