Window only goes up

My passenger side window will only go up not down. I replaced the switch and still it only goes up. I hooked up my motor to a power source and reversed the polarity to make sure it will turn both forwards and reverse and it does. My driver side switch will not make the passenger window go down either. Any ideas as to what can be causing this problem?

Try replacing the driver side switch.

Not enough power gets to the motor. A kit using relays is available. It sends battery power directly to the motor. Worn out rubber in the window track will allow the window to jam. I'm pretty sure the store on this site sells the window track rubber, I'm not sure about the relay kit.
