Actually S&P makes headers for them, but they aren't long tubes.  I don't know if they can fit long tubes in there though and still not hand to low.

Man that sucks.  That guy NITROUS is working on a set for the OBS(88-98) trucks, I wonder if they will fit our trucks.  I think I had headers from an OBS on my truck when I first bought it(with the 350), and the trans crossmember was channeled.  Maybe the frame is similar?

Thanks, and yes I still have those rims if you are talking about the "general Lee" ones on the primer truck.

Found out the reason nothing was working the way I thought they should.  Without even thinking about it, the motor mounts I ordered use the existing LS motor mount location which is 4" behind where the "normal" SBC mounts are.

These are the pictures of the engine mounted using ECE mounts:

Wednesday April 26th: Ordered a set of LS motor plates from S&P to mount the engine in the correct posistion.

The only manifolds I have ever mounted on mine are the ones that came with the 6.0L 2000 model engine.

i had to shave them back for clearance.  I have BRPhotRod headers now.

Not sure if it's been mentioned already or not, but S&P up in Arkansas does a good bit of LS into square body conversions and I believe they sell custom headers.

If you look at the top I mention that S&P sells headers (shorties) and I got my motor mounts from them.
The shorty headers from S&P are around $550, the BRB midlengths are $100 less.

They are the rollers for another truck.  When I start on it I do plan to sell them.
