newer cab older fenders
« on: October 23, 2009, 09:17:31 AM »
I am looking for some photos or video of what needs to be done body wise to the cab on a 81-87 cab when I go to put on 73-80 fenders. I know this has been talk about before on here but I can't seem to find any photos of it. Wny help or tips would be great!

Thanks
Wade

More work needs to be done going the other way around. The rear hood stop pins are the only thing that comes to mind. Obvioisuly the rest would be the 73-80 nose.

Cut new hole for the wiper assemble and really that is all.  If you want it to look factory you have to cover up the hinge holes in the cowl.  That is it.

Thanks

Did you look in the tech pages?  It is documented there:

If you have questions, just ask though.
