ok i think i posted that i got a wing early on in the year but i was wanting to get your guys info on how to install it ive seen on power block that they have the things like rivits but they are threaded in the middle would that be the way to go or would i be better off running a bolt through the in and outer skin of the roof

The problem with bolting"straight" through is the roof is 2 ply and you would need a away to keep it from compressing. The roofs on our crewcabs are so flimsy (for lack of a better word) its really hard to attach something to them without its working its way loose. The rivits that are threaded sound like a good idea however I have no experience with them. However you decide to attach your wing its totally gonna look cool.Good luck!

ive used the rivets that are threaded before, although it wasnt on a truck, it was on my jeep. i used them for the inside bolts on the top above the window because the old threads got striped.

imo i think the work great!
you put them in the use the lever and the expand to the size of the hole and make a tight fit. im not sure how thin the roofs are on our trucks are but you could always try it, the windshield on my jeep wasnt very thick so it should work on your truck, and before you expand them you can always put some expoxy glue or something like that to seal it up.
