Custom Door lock/ power window switches

Has any put aftermarket billet switches in replace of their factory door panel switches? I'm looking to relocate them to the console, if not to the ashtray.

I have seen it done on some trucks before. Not hard if you get the right switches and wire them correctly, actually you could put them anywhere I guess and have them work the same.

I would call them and verify but technically they should be able to be used

If you opt to use aftermarket universal type switches, make sure to ask them if they are suitable for stock, momentary ground triggering. Also, OEM window switches are HOT at all times with the IGN on via the PINK 12ga leads to them and are chassis grounded-make sure the switches are compatible-as some newer switches are not designed to carry a voltage load, only to act as a ground trigger-as new vehicles do. For relay I use and for Express UP and DOWN to modernize our trucks so that is what I would ask them-especially if relocating switches to your console-imo I would update the wiring since youd be looking at re-wiring it all anyway. Just my .02 cents.

If they are not able to carry full voltage I'm sure that no one here that has added relays for the windows would disagree with adding them. They drastically change thfunction of the power windows. Search the forum and you will find plenty of info on this. Good luck and I really like the raw look of those switches

Has anyone used bluewiremotorsport buttons or keepitclean buttons in replace of original power window and lock buttons?

I have seen versions of those used but not theirs specifically. Either way without getting a stock replacement you will have to set upnrelays because most aftermarket switches are barely rated to 5amps
