Need some Pics and Measurments
« on: March 07, 2011, 03:22:40 PM »
Im still undecided about doing a lift on my truck. If i do im planning on either a 2in or a 4in suspension lift with 33in tires. If i do go with the 2in will the 33in tires fit? Or if i go with the 4in would i want to put a body lift on it as well? So i need some pictures and specs on your guys set ups. Plus i would like to know the distance between the top of the tire and the bottom part of the trim on the fender(front and back). Plus the distance from the ground to the bottom of the truck(gas tank). TIA

cant help you with any pics but people on here say you can fit 31s on a stock k10 so with a 2" lift you should be able to fit 33s no problem

I run 33's with an extra leaf in the front and a few extra in the back, giving it probably 2" of lift. For 33's, a 4" lift will easily be enough, and a 2" lift might work, depending on what wheels, tires, and offset you're using. I've seen these trucks clear 33's with stock suspension also, but every case is different. If you're going to use a knobby mud tire on a wide wheel definitely go with a 4".

Here is the 77 I picked up for a parts truck with a rancho 4" suspension lift.
