87 Burb with a saggy rear.
« on: February 23, 2003, 01:15:00 AM »
What is the best/most popular way to bring the rear of the vehicle back up where it should be? It's got the normal back end is lower then the front thing going on.

Thanks,
Kazz

There's no way to fix it, I'll get that junk out of your yard for $50.

:rollin

Is it lifted or stock?  A lot of guys add 2" add-a-leaves but I like the ride of stock springs so I'd say if it's stock just add 2" lift blocks or 2" over the amount of lift in front, within reason.

Thanks for the response Kevin but I think I'll keep it. My wife's rear sags too but she's worth more them $50.

It's all stock. I saw those 2" lift blocks in a JC Whitney catalog but I thought maybe there was a better way. Since they did come from the factory reletively level would just replacing with new springs bring it back up?

Thanks again,
Kazz

If she saw you said she had a saggy rear, you'd need more than $50 to get out of the dog house with her!

New springs would bring it back up but the blocks are probably the cheapest fix and the easiest to install.

Mine sags too.  Maybe a big-block would even things up.
