I'm going to 4.10 because my new parts truck has a perfect set of axles. I rarely go much over 55 or 60 as it is, and I am surrounded by hills and mountains, which driving up the mountains with the 3.08 means wide open in third, or lugging around in fourth. I drove the parts truck around a little before the brake lines blew up(thank goodness in the carport), and the difference on the hills was awesome. It sounds like the switch may be perfect for me.

missed the part about you having a parts truck with 4.10 thought you where just going to get new gears or where looking for 4.10s.
