Title: help with this 81 c30

I bought this truck as a project and i dont know what direction to take it can anyone help me out give me some tios on how to go with this build?

I would find a 4x4 chassis for it. Are you going to tow with it? Give us some idea how you're going to use it. It'd be a good start for a 2wd pulling truck.

i personally love the look of the C&C axles under a regular bed. but what do you plan on doing? haul, cruise, maybe go mudding or just playing on the road?

Im going in the direction of hauling
And yeah i love the dual wheels tucked under regular bed makes it look tougher

ok, now how much money??? you want to go with a cummins a 4bt or 6bt? or you like the gas?

For now gas eventually i want to get a 6bt and money is not unlimited but i can spend around 1000 a month on this project

being an 81 you have the th400 if auto which is ok for the cummins but top speed might be 60-65. but you can find a good on them every now and them for 1k-1.5 most 2k. you could have the swap done for 1.5-2k
