Welcome to the site, love the truck and the trailer.  Very sharp looking indeed.

Strange request, but can you show some pics of the trailer too!  And can you share pics of the inside?

Still love the look of that truck with the matching trailer behind it.  I wanted to do the same thing with my 74, but mine is a step side and the trailer will be a fleet side dump bed.

Did you build the trailer or just cut/modify the front frame rails?  feel free to make another post..  I have the stuff to do this and just haven't committed yet.  I planned to use the long bed from my crewcab when I shorten it...

I took another 79 long box that we had at the farm. Removed cab, motor and front clip. I had a welder notch and bend the frame rails in, weld and reinforce. Added a hitch and checker plated the front. Pretty simple to do. I also bought new box sides and tailgate.

That is an awesome combo.  I've done the same and have a frame all done and ready for the right 8 foot be for it.  If anyone needs to see it where I cut/bent/welded it back up I can take pictures.  I had my white bed off my 85 C20 on it but put the bed on a cab and chassis a while ago.  Here it is pictured with the current bed on it that is now on my 85 C20
