This is my 1977 Chevy K10 stepside, it has a 3" lift with 35x12.50x15 BF Goodrich. This was my first truck, I got it when i was 15, it started off as a 2wd truck but the frame was rusty so I found a 4wd frame and this is how it turned out, thanks to my dad who helped me every step of the way

Nice looking stepside. How did you deal with the trans tunnel? Did you swap it for a 4x4 one or run is that a 3" body lift you are running?
-
Thanks, I cut the center of the hump out and bolted in the 4wd removable pannel, the lift is a 3" suspension

Looks good, you gonna paint that hood or leave it black? I had kicked around the idea of painting my truck either red or white and keeping a flat black hood. It might sound wierd, but I like that look. What motor is in it?
-
I can't decide, I kind of like the black too
-
It has a 350 in it
-
Nice truck! I like the black hood 8)

Looks good, Jesse!

Thanks, I will try and post some more pictures

Right now I got a similar look going with my black truck and a white hood. My wife and her family like it, so I think I'm gonna stick with it for now.

Jesse, did you add those steps on your truck yourself? If so, how difficult was it to install them?
-
Yes I installed them, I welded them to the back side of the rocker panel

Hi Jesse, You and your Dad have done a great job on the 77' and it shows you take great pride in what you drive. Since this 77' is your first truck and the fact that your Dad was involved makes it rather special. Don't be tempted to let it fall into someone elses hands, you only get a "first" once. Keep it and you will join a group that I have been a member of for 33 yrs. After many shows and lot's of conversation, very few can attest to still owning there first truck, and most will tell you that they could only wish that they did.
That truck will create a smile for the rest of your life. I know mine has. Terry ;D

It has crossed my mind in the past but I'm glad I never went through with selling it, It would have made me sick to see someone else driving my truck around town, thanks for the great advice and complements.
