OK, I got my truck last March, and just havent tinkered with that door yet. The locking mech. works its power everything. But inside and outside handle wont open the door. How do I get this thing open to find out whats wrong with it??

When this has happened to me, it's always in the latch or rod connection at the latch. If you can get the door panel off that's the start. Usually helps to rool the window down and look down inside the chanel with a flashlight.

Thanks DD. I'll start there. Kinda gettin tired of not haven it workin.

Does it open from the outside?

There is a spring that breaks on the latch too that if I remember right, when broken the latch doesn't unlock properly.

Does it open from the outside?
Nope. Neither inside or outside handles will work. I have plenty of time on my hands today so I am going to get to a few things with the truck, door, diagnostic cable.... and so on.

Got it workin!! Im thinking at this point the outter door handle had some corrosion on it keeping the button from fully releasing, and not allowing the door lock mech. to fully release. That was the issue I found once I got into it was the door lock wasent fully releasing. I had to pry on it a bit with a long socket extension n it released. Works awesome now!
