Im from Gerald Missouri, and in Feb, i will aquire for a whopping $1000 a piece of my childhood. A red 77 Custom Deluxe, 350 4 spd, 4 wheel drive propane powered flatbed. My dad went through this truck about 10 years ago and he put another rust free cab on, but in high school i caused a few dents and dings on the passenger side. The intake gasket enjoys having a good leak, but i hope to adress that soon, and we need a leaf spring hanger. Oh yea also in high school i fried the posi ( not my fault the drive shaft bolt came loose and me not knowing better tried to put stuff together to get it home. oops) so i need a posi in place of my limited slip. i will have some pictures to come later, thanks

Welcome. Posi is limited slip btw.

Sorry I havnt responded to any of this. I now know that posi is limited slip, but there is still some type of difference correct? posi makes both turn when one slips?
propane, costs around 500+ for the conversion, and then whatever the propane provider charges (muahaha 1.10 a gallon)

Nope. Two names for the same thing.

Depending on if the limited slip (Positraction is what GM called it) was factory, you can rebuild them.

Hey,
Just wanted to drop into this thread and say hello from a fellow Missourian.
This is my first post BTW.
I see that you live near Gerald, Mo.
I used to haul steel coils to Bull Moose Tube. I used to have a flatbed 18 wheeler leased to a company that hauled a lot of steel, and Bull Moose tube was one of our steady deliveries.
