Hey all. I've got an 87 Silverado that I'm not going to drive this winter. It's not a 4x4, and last winter I drove it about a block before I realized I wasn't going to drive it much. So, should I take the battery out over the winter? It's got half a tank of gas in it...should I leave it full?
Thanks, Josh

Everything should be fine for a season as long as you start it up once a month and let it warm up. Battery Tender trickle charger would be good. Gas should be fine for 3 months.

gas should be fine, but, not filling up the tank will cause condensation. water will eventually condense in the tank...may not be enough to worry about, but, some STP gas treatment will mix w/ the water and allow it to not be a problem.
but as metnioned, running it til it warms up once or twice a month should be just fine.
