I have an 84 C10 with a straight 6 and 3spd manual and I'm going to swap a 350 engine and th350 trans will my transmission yoke fit in the th350?
-
Yes the yokes are the same last time I made the swap. If it is a short tail shaft TH350 the drive shaft would be the same length as well

Thanks for the info.
I just found a 77 C10 as a donor truck, is there anything I should be aware of?

If the donor is the same wheel base you should have no problem using the driveshaft as well. You are going to need the kickdown for the 6 cylinder carb and you are going to have to run a trans cooler if your radiator is the original stick shift one. Unless the 77 is clean I would bend new trans cooler lines and flush them before you install them. The clutch pedal if still hooked up is your "neutral safety switch". It depends on how far you want to go with the conversion, a steering column for the 84 auto or just an aftermarket shifter on the floor. I know when I made the conversion on an old 79 GMC the 3 speed was converted to the floor already so I bolted together the R-1 and the 2-3 tabs on the shifter and made a rod that worked. It was an old junker that was work enough to drive without having to shift it.
