hi guys iv Ben searching this site 4 some straight forward cab corner repair but haven't found it yet. OK how do y'all go about replacing cab corners iv got the repair panels just dont know what to do next i know you have to take the bed off but then I'm lost. my cousin owns a welding shop so he can weld them in place 4 me i just need to know how to do it start to finish. a body man wants to charge me 100 bucks a side !!! so thats why i want to do it my self if i can

$100 bucks a side isn't bad at all! You basically need to cut out all of the rot and get them fitted into position. Make sure they line up with the rocker and the door correctly. Tack weld it into place, double check your positioning and finish welding them in. Once you're done grind away and finish it off with your filler. I use fiberglass first but you might wanna wait and see what the Blazin would do or lorne. they're body guys. I just did them on my mutt and they came out pretty good.

Think it's OK to give these guys a plug but I've learned a lot from watching Spike TV's PowerBlock.
They often do segments on replacing body patch panels in Trucks, Muscle Car, and Xtreme 4x4. If you checkout their website, you might even find a how-to video with this subject.
The fact that you have a welding shop available is a huge bonus as I had to take mine to guy I knew who only charged me a few hundred bucks to replace the cab corners, rockers, and repair part of my floor pans. Since that time, I've purchased my own MIG welder, and my brother-in-law has a TIG, so now I wouldn't hesitate to do this on my own for my next project :)
Good luck!
