a 15x10 on my 86 Silverado?
And just making sure... 5x5 bolt pattern?
Thanks!
-
5x5 for 2wd. I believe 3.5" - 4" backspacing
-
If you want it to tuck, you can go 5".
-
Sounds like 3.5" would stick out??
What size tires would you guys run on a 15x10 rim?
-
I will go measure my backspacing right now. Is your truck lowered? Stock?
-
3.5" should be close to the fender lip, by "tuck" I meant the truck slammed on top of them.
-
My truck is stock height, but I'd like to lower it maybe 3/5? I don't want it slammed...
I'm wanting to do 15x10's all the way around, but I need to know a tire size too. I just don't want the wheels/tires to stick out or be tucked in too much.
Wheels/Tires/Stance makes the ride.... I'm picky and wheels/tires are expensive so I need to get it right the first time!
-
I wouldn't put 15x10 on the front. That's too wide. How are you planning to lower it?
-
I don't know really.... spindles or springs maybe? I guess it depends on what tire I go with to see how much I want it to come down.
I thought I saw where 15x10's looked good up front... I'm going to search for some pics...

Here we go...

Hard to tell if the fronts are too wide looking really..... 8.5's might be perfect up there.

Those wheels look cool. But there is a sweet K5 in the background in one of the pics.
