i have been looking everywhere does anyone know where i can get a diecast model of an 85-87 k10?
-
negative, have not ever seen one and been looking for years!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck! Was hoping they would do a throw back with the "Fall Guy" truck and that would be close enough!!! hahahahahaha

We may have to wait about 25 yrs. There are plenty of '50s era diecast 1/18 and 1/24th scale models around.

Here is one I found of a 70-72... and they always have to screw up the looks w/ those stupid looking big wheels, skinny tires. Yuck!

wow, at first i was shocked at the $38 price tag on the SoReal models. However, after looking at the "news" sections of the website, pretty impressive detail is evident when reading the magazine articles. Franklin Mint, eat your heart out.
It'd be nice to get a '91 2500 4x4 blue 'burb or a '79 green Big 10 fleetside p/u, maybe later.
-
the only really nice chevy truck toy i got is that 1/64 '72 black c-10 from dazed and confused. i saw it at wal-mart and bought it. to be as little as it is, it has a lot of detail.

Yes they are of Great Quality for the Price!!! I bought a Damage Hawaiian Blue like Capt posted, off of Flea-Bey only for $19 shipped to me... I wanted a Damaged one(A bed mount broke, but is easily fixed), as I plan on Slicing and Dicing the bed, to replicate my Hawaiian Blue LWB(The Grille will be modified to a Jimmy config as well ;))....
Back before they were actually released to the Public, I contacted SoReal, and the guy I chatted with, stated that had hopes to expand to the Later '81-87 look.... He said that they wait to decide what to go with next, depending on the sales response to the previous offerings.... He went on to say that he was hoping they would offer GMC Options(Grille,Tailgate Strip, and Fender Decals), as well as offering Crews, and Burbs.....
-
I talked to them also asking about a 4x2 version, guy blew me off.
They are great quality though. I want to find a broken one myself and 4x2 it. :)

Sent a PM on what you are looking for Capt...

Got it!

When I talked to So Real about the '75's release, I had asked if they planned on doing a 2wd version, and the guy said it again really depended on how well the current ones did, and if they got enough requests for them..... Said that as it was, they had no plans to do one at that time, as JADA mainly does the 2-Wheelers and he wanted to stay away from that area... He also admitted that most of them at the Company were mainly lifted 4wheel junkies, so that was the main reason for them doing what they had already done....
Chris, the link I sent you, is the seller that I got mine from, and he seems to be the only one to sell them damaged.... My only complaint is that I wish he would offer a straight Buy It Now price, so I don't have to worry about someone jacking up the price on me....

I sent him a PM about them. Thanks for the heads up..

It was from my childhood my parents bought it in the early 80s. It was a 4x4, it has yellow tinted glass, and the doors open. I played with it alot when I was a kid the paint is coming off and one of the wheels were broke so I took it apart and put the big style wheels on it and lowered it.
It was made by yatming that is also who made the older trucks in the picture.
