Hello everyone.  I drive a 1982 c10 6.2 diesel w/700r4 scottsdale C10.  I know what you're thinking...why would GM put a diesel in a 1/2 ton.  I didn't know why either until after I bought it and calculated my highway mileage...i've seen 24mpg at best...18-19mpg average.   I hope to add pics and info to my profile when I get a chance.

Diesels get GREAT gas mileage. 25mpg is not out of the question.  They can't pull, but you can cruise forever...
