The body is pretty much ok, not rusted out, but the previous owner cut the top up to the windsheild and installed the full cage. The front sheetmetal is good, but it is just the body. The frame is going to the previous owners dad who is gonna make another shorty 4x4. Averall the body isnt too bad, but its just the body only and will have to be an open top rig unless you put the top back on after removing the cage. This is the body in question

Vile,
i shouldnt have sold my 83 k5 when i was younger. It had some rust issues but nothing i couldn`t have fixed.I`d like to get a 73-80 style as well.
Good luck if you do decide to get 1, i know your up to your neck in the mutt project and the 74 motor rebuild as well. But where would you house this blazer once done? Your gonna need a bigger garage to house 4 vehicles.

thanks
pat

lol, I'll find room! I have a big yard and a huge garage at work at my disposal too so Storage isn't a big deal. I do want a Blazer so bad though.

Vile, I've got some what of a blazer I gave it to my oldest son as a project for him but after 2 years of sitting and him not touching it I aquired it back I was tired of it sitting and taking up space I would have helped him but he would rather someone buy him a brand new one and GIVE it to him. Originally it is an 86 frame with a 4" lift I found a real good body for a $125.00 floors, rockers and all are great just the section across the tailgate typical so as soon as I get time to put the two pieces together I'll do it myself then he'll want it after the work is all done. First thing I told him to do was put the gas tank in and new brake lines before we put the body on I had already POR15 the frame he wouldnt even put the tank in after I bought him the straps sorry just frustrated with the whole thing now I'll put it together to show him anything is possible but you have to work at it a little.
