chris would be the way to go jcw just dont catch my eye ;)

Usse an OEM dash or a dash cap. The aftermarket ones are CRAP
-
Use the OEM dash, from what I have seen of the aftermarket ones they dont fit very well.
-
that now seems the vibe im geeting from other people as well.
well guess ill just finish glassing my factory pad then.
hey BTW jason do you know of anyone who can order me some tweed without charging a bunch?
all the local fabric shops wont order it and the only place that will is wantin to charge freakin $25 a yd!
-
I replaced the dash pad once and dropped the bigger bill. Was glad I did. Skimp (if you have to) on something you won't stare at everyday...
-
No Chris I sure dont there is a man locally that I have used in the past but like you said he wants to charge you an arm and a leg and he will not order it unless you order so much. Good luck with your dash and tweed and let us know how it turns out.

Try looking at www.yourautotrim.com I believe it like $10.00 a yd I just got 2 yds of headliner material with the foam backing for like $27. delivered.

The dash I sell for 81-91 trucks isn't a repop, it is an OEM GM dash.
