You're probably better off to do it yourself. By the time you pay someone to do it for you you could just buy new vent windows. I have redone them several times and they never come out perfect. The frames get weak and distorted applying the weatherstripping and removing the rivets. If you aren't willing to tackle it yourself I'd just opt for new ones. They are about $250-$300 bucks each last I checked.

What company actual reproduces these NEW vent windows? Are they worth a dang and are they painted correctly?  Maybe I should do the 1 piece windows?

Thanks for the info,

I would just do the one piece windows I think they look better anyway.

It depends if you are partial to the look. Someone just bought a vent window from Chris on here. I don't remember who it was but do a search and ask him how it came out. I don't know anyone persoanlly who has the one piece windows so I'm not sure how they are.

The new vent windows are from GM. I got one and the fit is perfect. One thing though, the gaskets are later style, meaning bigger rubber flaps, they wont match the earlier stock ones from 86 back. So get 2 if you have the funds.

I checked gmpartsdirect.com and their website said $190.32 for one side and $200.91 for the other! BUT!!!,,,,  after I submitted an order, the next page read: NOT FOR SALE, WE DON'T SHIP GLASS!!  WHAT BULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did check my dealer I buy from and they say $250.00 each(minus chrome handle!) CAN'T ANYONE HERE GET THESE THINGS  CHEAPER THAN WHOLESALE????  The part#'s are:  15634471 & 15634472

I can, but I wouldn't make a profit.  If you can get them from the dealer for $250, get them from there.
