Title: heads with no acessory bolt holes?!?!?!
Post by: 355shortbed on January 12, 2009, 07:37:37 pm
Are there brackets i can buy that will work to bolt up an alternator and power steering pump for heads that dont have accessory bolt holes? i guess they would bolt to the water pump?

Your best bet would be to look for the brackets off of a pre 70's car or truck. May have them later, but i am not sure. I dont know of any aftermarket brackets that bolt other wise, unless they are reporduction chrome versions of the original. You will have to modify the brackets if you are running headers with spacers because they botl to the exhaust flanges.

If you go with the early 60's brackets (stock chevy car or truck) you'll need a short water pump.
