Is you sensor connected good?

Check at your battery for a good ground. Also have your battery tested. My Dakota Digital Gauges would go into a demo or service mode when I would start it. I had a bad cell in my battery. Also check your alternator to make sure it is not going bad. My gauges are really sensitive to low voltage.

OK when i get home i will have to check the connections, the weird thing is my alt is supposedly charging at 15.1 were it was always at 14.1 w/ just lights or 13.9 with lights and wipers on. nother question i pretty sure its my sending unit but no mater what setting i set the cluster on for fuel its always off, so did one of them custom settings, zero the gauger out then 33% then 66% then 100% or something like that, just like the book said but it never goes over 75%. now before i put in the digital gauge the fuel would be running low at around 1/4 tank "according to the needle" and it would be full about 3/4 over full so like at 0430 or something like that.

Update: Finally got around to taking dash back apart with the nice weather. didn't see no problems so i redid the ground wire i had the module and the sending unit also the switches all hocked togeather. don't know why but i was being lazy that day, now its all good everything is working fine now thanks for the help
