Sorry to ask this, but I'm a new owner and I just need quick help. For me, it's easier to ask this than try to look it up.
I have found a light socket under the dash area by the ashtray. there is not a bulb in it right now. I read on this forum that It can be replaced withe the 1056 or 1057, can anyone verify which it is for me, please? I would like to have that acting with the dome light for creature comfort when entering/exiting the vehicle.
Also while I have your attention, the front turn signal bulbs ( behind-the-grill-style) are they 2057a or 1057a?
the PO just let the trucks parts break and not get replaced. they were removed as well.. its weird. I found the signals not working,... then I went to check the bulbs, AND THEYRE GONE.
thats why im asking. sorry to bother you with this lame newb question.

any local auto parts store should b able to help you out

the only difference in the 1057 and 1056 is the brightness of the bulb i think the 56 is brighter but not sure and your other bulb should be a 2057a since its both a turn signal and running light bulb, the bulb has 2057 having 2 and 1057 only having one

Your underdash light should be an 1156. At least that's what mine is.

awesome. THanks for that info.

1157, 2 element-tail light/brake light
1156, single element, reverse light
1157a, same as above but amber in color meant for front turn signals that are clear.
I think the 2057 series is the newer style for the 88 on up CK but not positive on that without going in the cold garage and finding one.
