Title: 94 Saturn Rad
Post by: oldwhity on January 23, 2009, 01:18:47 pm
Does anyone know if a radiator from an automatic car will work in one that's a 5-speed? I think it might. Just won't be using the tranny end of the rad, right? Just trying to prolong my beaters life. Thanks

I have done it on American cars and trucks not sure on a Saturn though :)

Thanks Frog, I think the only difference is that there's a tranny reservoir(not sure what it's called) that won't be used. Just wanted to clarify. Thanks again. :)

Should be fine.  I know I have done it before on a pickup.

Thats what I thought too until I brought home one(same body style) yesterday and the mounts ended up about 2 inches lower. When I get a chance today, I'm going to check and see what years they changed. Maybe it was a 91 that the rad came from. Thanks guys
