Hello ..
I am working on an 83 K10 stepside ... the previous owner says it has a recently rebuild 350 ..
the engine number is ( M07020VP )
Can anyone help me w/decoding it .. Is it a real 350 ?
Thanks in advance

If you had the engine stamp it would be easier to look up.
-
It reads like a stamp code
M=Mexico
07=July
02= the day
Not sure on the OVP don't have any newer suffix info.
Did you get these numbers from the right front of the block?
-
What's the # on the back of the block near the bellhousing?
-
I can't find OVP.
