is it 2 bolt or 4 bolt mains?

4 bolt inners are 70 ft lbs outer 65 ft lbs up to 76

or 77 and up
inners are 80 ft lbs and outers 70 ft lbs

Also 80 on cap bolts and 65 on oil pump as the rear is always a 2 bolt on a small block. Just make sure the cap is all the way down before you torque, have heard that pulling the cap down with the bolts is bad, but then again this post is way late and I am sure you have already completed the torquing of said cap.
