Took the 4-year old daughter out in the K5. Stopped along the way and took some gratuatious pictures. Thought I'd share.

The truck looks nice

That is cute. That's got to be a simple pleasure to just go out and enjoy a ride with a loved one who obviously is enjoying it too.

Cute pics! Wasn't it cold?

Nice pics. If shes anything like my little girl, she absolutely loves your truck. I asked her why do you like the truck so much? Because its bigger than mommys car and I can see everything... :D

Nice truck! My sons 2 yrs old and loves to ride in Dads truck... good times.
-
Aw, that's cute! She is a happy looking copilot there.
-
Cherish those moments. My baby girl is 19 now but she still loves riding in daddys truck.

Some of my best memories are riding in my dad's 55 chevy pickup as a kid. I remember one time his brakes went out and he had to use the e-brake to get us home. Good Times.

Funny thing about the K5 with no top... No air to speak of comes in. You'd think you would freeze to death, but the air just blows over.... My heater fan makes noise so I have to leave it on low.... I replaced the fan itself but may have gotten it in there cockeyed or something. About 20 years ago an old guy showed me how/where to drill a hole in that blower motor and put a few drops of 3 in 1 oil into the hole. It lubes up the motor and stops it from making that noise (I'm sure you all are familiar with that noise as these trucks were bad for it). You don't have to replace it or even remove it. Pretty neat.
Nope, it wasn't cold that day... It was in the 70s! A light jacket was all we needed!
Thanks guys!

Nice truck, I would love to own a blazer one day with the removable top!
