Title: Taillights and Brake lights arent working??

On my 1980 C10 the turn signals work but neither my brakelights or taillights work? Does anyone have an ideas as to why?

I'm puzzled cause the tail and brake light are two diffrent filaments in fact the turn signal is the same as the brake, in less the stop light switch and head light switch both went bad. did they stop at the same time? i would check all the wires from the head light switch maybe even i don't know the name of the connection but its about 5 " long and attached to the steering column left side of it you will see like 8 wires going to it your turn signal switch will be what it plugs into

I would check the bulbs and fuses first. If that's not it, it's grounding out somewhere which could be a pain in the arse to find.

Check the connector at the rear harness, check the bulbs, check your connections.
