Post by: HeAvYChEvY! on February 11, 2009, 05:56:21 pm: thanks everyone! no im not a member of the impalas forum. i did build a 65' and 2 68' impalas and a 94 fleetwood, unfortunately all my pictures are in storage! Im going to do the lil bit of body work (should i buy the trim or leave it naked), completely redo the interior, prolly going to put 22's on there this weekend. eventually drop it (any stance ideas?) and build a 350 so if this lil 305 goes ill be ready! ill prolly change my mind a million times and it will never get finished but thats the fun part!

Post by: campcrf on February 11, 2009, 07:04:30 pm: I personally really like the look without the trim (makes the truck look wider/fat)... its funny it is a 78, cause i always was under the impression that the square headlights in 73-80 only came in 80. Maybe someone changed the grill??

Post by: campcrf on February 11, 2009, 08:26:36 pm: well it all depends on what style you like... thats the thing about these trucks... you can do anything relatively cheap and if you dont like it you can change it... all depends what look you want....

You know what, I got lucky. I got the truck the way it is. But the truck been sitting outside for a while and there is so much rust. I pretty much have to replace every fender and the cab is just as bad. well is that lucky ???
