I have an 82 C20 3/4 ton. It's got the stock 16 inch 8 stud steel wheels on at the mo. I'm planning on getting them widened either to 8 or 9 inch (maybe 8 front and 9 back). What size tires would you suggest?? Show me pics of what you got.... ;D
It's running at standard ride height at the moment, I had considered lowering it, but it'll only be a moderate one if I do, due to practical reasons.... the reason I mention this is I'm most concerned about the cosmetics and the wheels looking the right size in the arches.

I just put the same size tire on my 2wd C20 1978 stock height, except on 16x8 wheels with 4" backspacing. Tires are Goodyear Armors. It's perfect. 33"s would come very close to hitting the front fender bottoms when turning. I didnt figure this out myself - I read it here in an old post. THANKS GUYS !!!
