Hey guys, Im after the last few parts of my interior, and I thought I would ask if anyone has seen them online anywhere.
In the lower portion of my door, there is a carpet piece, and within that a plastic piece that covers the door vent proper.. I need a pair of this part.
Also the dash grilles. I guess this is the plastic grid-like piece where the hot air from the defrost comes out. I need a pair of those. ( in black)
I still have my blue stuff, Im just looking for it in black or billit or something before I try to paint them. The dash part is kinda crunchy ( like the rest of the plastics)
anyway, the last pieces I need are the rear cab corners plastic trim. ( this is the piece with the coat hanger hook, and shoulder seat belt routing ring-thingy.
Any thoughts on that? thanks in advance,
Pete

Pete I've seen every one of those parts for sale on eBay at one time or another. Look over this guy's web site-

I might have these used, but they would have to be painted to match...

If these on your are blue, someone already painted them, they were Black on all vehicles.

Are you talking about the rear pillar pieces?

the lower plastic vents I have seem to be molded from blue plastic. I think Ill just have to paint mine black and find some black carpet to recover the wooden part.
I took my dash vents with some sandpaper and they are blue also. Im sorry to contradict what you have said in your post. another wierd thing is that when I dry fit these into my new dash pad, I am missing a small section of the vent.. likeMaybe 4 inches worth on the drivers side. The passengers side will fit right in.. After I paint it…
The rear pillars plastic trim is are the last pieces of the puzzle. Mine were all but destroyed upon removal. I think maybe the PO carried a lot of crap around in the cab of this truck. All the plastics were brutalized.

Is this for the 83 in you sig? As in the vents wedged in the dash, you will need to paint those to match.
-
yes correct. I was wondering what filled the remaining area of the dash vent area on the drivers side, and if you might carry the rear cab plastic pillars.
-
It would be used if I have any. Want me to look?
-
if they aren't busted that would be cool. mine are blue and broken around the screw holes etc. I will be painting them black if thats any concern.
If you happen across a nice set that is used and not all brittle, that would be great.
thanks again,
Pete
