Title: Wheel & Tire Fittment
Post by: 85 lowrider on March 11, 2009, 06:44:27 pm
I am planning on running a set of 16" wheels with 5" of back spacing. I need to use wheel adaptors that are 1.25" thick. Tires will be 225/60/R16. With a 5-7 drop on my 85 LWB, will these tires clear or hit the wheel wells. I heard that you can go down to 3.25" of back spacing, but I wasn't sure if that was on a lowered truck. I already have the wheels and can get a set of tires cheap. the only expense would be the adaptors, and they are only $130. I would apreciate any help.

How much of a drop are you running?  how wide a rim?
