Its a Dana 44.
60's use one U bolt on the right side.
-
That is what i thought but on the right side or left of the axle tubes down in the corner it will tell you what it is

Its a Dana 44.

I believe this is what Blazin is talking about as the identifier.

Notice the bolt that is sticking straight up out of the housing. That's where the inner side of the right spring clamp bolts up on a D60.
-
Exactly! ;D
-
yep i know its a dana 44 because that is what i have and blazin is the man with these trucks so he would know ;)

thanks guys OK now with the next question I'm new with this whole axle thing but i want a locker for the front. what other info do i need to know, and were do i find one?
-
Are you going to drive it on the street or just mud?
-
I just got an Eaton for my 14 bolt 9.5" rear from Randy's Ring and Pinion. If Kaptkaos doesn't sell them give these guys a call. I'll let you know in a week or two how it works out.

street and mud. but i want something that like in the snow i can turn off like an air locker so the front doesn't get out of control
