does anyone have any pictures of a 81-87 truck with rims from a newer year truck suburban thanks
-
How new? GM went to a 6 lug pattern starting in 1999...
-
I have a 1983 and looking at a set of rims off a 1998 but would like to see any pictures with newer oem rims

There is definitely a member here running 15" alloy rims from a 96-98. Comb through the member rides section.
Scratch that here he is, but his pics are disappearing. http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=7156.0

Anything newer than 1999 will have a 6 lug setup, so they won't work.

last time i checked 98 was not newer than a 99 idk maybe its just me tho
-
I think the newer 99 up wheels will fit IF you have 4 wheel drive 6 lug. ???

True, but it's newer than 1987. He didn't specify how new. When anyone says "newer" or "later" in reference to our trucks I assume anything 88-up is fair game.

is it 2WD or 4WD?
