Hey all. Im getting rid of my old truck its a 79 seirra 3/4 ton, I was wondering what I should strip off of it b4 she goes to a better home, my new truck is an 81 scottsdale 1/2 ton. The guy that is buying it only wants it for the frame and body every thing else I can take.

Ya that's my problem I live in a rental and I don't have much of a storage area to keep a bunch of stuff. I am taking all the glass, the heater core is about 2 months old so I'm snagging that. but I'm not sure what else I may need in the future that is hard to find.

Alternator,Starter, I always think of the little stuff that goes out when you don't expect it and then you have to go to a parts store and get a new one if nothing else you can always use them for core charges so you don't have to have yours off before you can get a new one. Light bulbs is also good to keep in stock and don't take much space to keep. Even cut some of the plugs like tail light sockets never kow when you need one.
