Just wanted to introduce myself I've been reading alot of the post and I got to tell you guys there are some of the nicest trucks I've ever seen on here. Ok about me im 40 years old and I have a 17 year old son and we both love our chevy trucks the funny thing is im a parts manager for a dodge dealership. I've owned a few older chevys I've had 3 suburbans 1 blazer and 2 stepside 1 dually right now we are currently restoring the two stepsides but times are hard and my son has to find a job you know (GET MONEY BUY PARTS LOL) but we have had some fun with the truck alot of good times in the garage and chasing parts down and thats whats important to me spending time with my boy ok lets see if we can load some pictures the first ones is my 87 suburban the WARWAGON God I loved this burban http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=3015100&imageID=52322654fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=1347749&imageID=14751635http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=1347749&imageID=14751641http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=1347749&imageID=14751639 ok next is the blazer THE MUDDUCK I bought the blazer when my son was 14 for us to strip it down and make a mud racer out of it it had a GM performance motor 700r4 transmission we work all winter gettin it ready for spring and he did pretty good with it we had a ton of fun and ran it for a 2 yearshttp://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=1347749&imageID=14751636http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=1347749&imageID=14751642http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=1347749&imageID=14751644http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=1347749&imageID=14751476http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=1347749&imageID=15855904 ok the warwagon didnt do a very good job of pulling the trailer so I traded it for the dually we had to do alot of work to it http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=2462081&imageID=36908010http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=2462081&imageID=36908018http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=1347749&imageID=15855616 loved that truck wish I still had it anyway my son found the 79 on ohio offroad and the guy needed something to pull a trailer with so we traded the dually now before we got the 79 home we lost all oil pressure and locked the motor up so we had to swap in another motor before he could drive it but now he drives it to school everyday ok now I used to be into lowriders and in the garage one day he ask how much work would it to swap his body onto a 2wd frame and lower it down at this point im thinking kid get a job lol but on craigslist we found the 81 stepside already lower and sounded pretty good the problem is when we looked at it there was 6 inches of snow on the truck I wanted to check it over alittle bit but it was cold out that day and I thought its a chevy how much can go wrong right we waited two days for the ice to melt away to bring it home none of the gauges work in the truck and we get about 7 miles from home and the thermostat sticks and we overheat it bad locked up on the highway had to tow it home bought a junkyard motor and installed it runs good but the trucks got alot of problems we fix one thing and something else breaks here is the 79 http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=3015100&imageID=52322653http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=3015100&imageID=52322654 and the 81 http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=3015100&imageID=52322641http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=3015100&imageID=52322644http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=51337449&albumID=3015100&imageID=52322645 hope the pictures come thur
