Well i bought the big block tonight, and went out and blew already, over 1,000 for parts. I gotta be out of my mind doing this.Oh well it better be well worth it cause i think after doing this i`m gonna just keep this 454 and keep the others for just in case i EVER decide to build another 1 which i dont see that anytime in the future. ::)
thanks

Good luck and have fun building it. I'm sure it'll be worth it. What's money for anyway other than for spending. And thanks for doing your part for the economy.
take pics of the rebuild and post. Us gearheads love seeing that stuff.

Andy,
i got the motor it didnt have a intake, carb cam, and waterpump and timing cover and timing chain.I bought a cam/lifters ,endurashine waterpump, pushrods, rocker arms, stud girdles, harmonic balancer, fuel pump, oil pan, oil pan pickup, oil pan bolts.I got a buddy of mine giving me a demon 750 for free thats comming off his motor so i hope soon to get that so once this is done we can fire it up and see what we built after all the machine work is done to it an asembled.
thanks
pat
p.s.s i already got a noisy gear drive, and a intake and timing cover and tall valve covers so i`m gonna get the oil pan powdercoated silver so we will see and i`ll keep you all updated in my restomod thread, i think personally this is the last of the heavy spending for the year till next year. i hope ::)
