Functional like that = ugly lol I'll probably just make my own off of the factory roll bar because I highly doubt anyone makes a nice one anymore.

Man, that stinks. I just bought some parts off of a guy last week he was taking off of an 88 k5 it had the complete roll bar in it. He tried to get me to take it also and I didn't. I checked with him when I saw you ask and he just replied and said he took the rest to scrap yesterday. Always a day late, Sorry.

A friend of mine just installed a kit from a local fabricator... Here's a link to his website, there are some pics of the K5 rollcage at the bottom of the page... It looks really slick, especially with the top removed.

(Sorry about the "/Chevy%20Custom"  Should be "/Chevy Custom")

Here's another site.  They have certain ones in stock and will build custom bars too.  They have a lot of pics on the site.

I'll probably just make something like this.

I don't want anything over the back

I know a few years ago Smittybuilt still made them for the 73-91 K5's.

That looks really similar to the one on my blazer.  Fat tube. It was an aftermarket made long ago. Don't remember the name of it though.

What's the factory roll bar look like?

I know this thread is old but I was looking in this section since I've found a couple of 2wd Blazer/Jimmy's to possibly purchase. One is even a full-top! Anyway, check out this roll bar:

Those are not factory.  The bar from the factory looks like Mike BEFORE the above picture was taken. It is just in the back of the truck.

Sorry I'm late.

This is the roll bar set-up I'm puttin' in my K5.  I like it because I'm gonna have to run a couple of carseats in the rear seat for the kids.  Problem is that the K5 rear seat sits so high that if it were to roll over, the kids heads would hit the ground.  This bar set-up not only provides the kids with protection, it also allows to put fabric in that'll give them shade from the AL sun.
