Just got this all set up this past weekend. More pics as soon as I get back from paint and powder coat.
-
Who wide are those ralleys? And is your box going to sit on the crossmember? Or are you going to have to cut it out?
-
The wheels are 14" wide. Yeah i decided to run the shock crossmember on top of the frame to be able to raise my lower shock mounts off the ground. The body is gonna have a 6 to 8 inch wide tub and i'll run a smaller tunnel from tub to tub to make clearence for the crossmember and the panhard bar.

That's an awesome build up you've got going!
-
Thanks Im pleased with the way its all turned out. Ill have more pics soon Hope it hooks half way decent,

Thanks,Stockton Wheel, Stockton Ca. Had to wait bout 5 weeks but well worth it. Shine is fine but steel is the deal !!!
-
That's going to look great with those wheels. Is your truck going to have a Pro Street set up? Where in MD are you? I'm a few miles north of Annapolis.
-
Yeah, pro street for the most part. 489BB stroker, oval ports, full roller, studded block,RPM Air Gap,3500 TCI Street Fighter,TH350,S&W 9" housing with Strange Nodular case, axles and detroit locker. 31 x 16.50 x 15 Sportsmans. Other than that just a stock short bed Scotty. Was gonna do a roll cage but didn't want to cut up the truck that bad.I'm about 45 minutes north of the Bay Bridge almost shoutin range.
-

All back From Paint and Powder coating.

i'm wondering, when you welded the ladder bar to frame mounts, did you leave the stock suspension and rear axle in place so that everything would be square? Or did you just measure from some point on the frame?
b) Could the rear axle be moved further rearward, to increase wheelbase (i think everyone knows where i am going with this) using this type of suspension?
-
That lookin good! Man, are those meats going to fit inside the fenders?! I'm diggin it!
-
Stew, I took the rear axle and suspension out completely and struck lines plum, square etc. then set up the 9". I guess the axle could be moved back but not more than about an inch. Thanks Whitty,The tire demension o.s. to o.s. is 1 1/2 " wider than the stock 10 bolt with the factory rallys, so yes they will fit inside the fenders with a few alterations to the inside of the bed ofcourse . ::)
