Title: New to me 79 Silverado in North Alabama....

I've asked a couple of questions in the suspension section and I usually hang out over on fullsizechevy.com but I wanted to introduce myself and start roaming around here more often. I just bought a 79 Silverado 2wd short bed 305 2bbl. It belonged to my wifes uncle. He had owned it since 87. You can't tell it but the truck was garage kept for 14 years. Everything works on the truck including the A/C and the factory radio. So far I have replaced the Alt., fuel pump, wiper inserts, left fender lamp, knocked a dent out of the left fender, new battery bolts, new rearview mirror, repainted the taillights, added a barefoot gas pedal, and drove the heck out of it. I love the truck. I still have some things to do to it. Until I can afford the wheels I want I amd gonna put new stickers in the center caps, paint the wheels silver, add chrome lug nuts, turn the tires black wall out, and replace one of the beauty rings. The truck goes in the shop saturday for a new Magnaflow muffler and chrome tip. I plan on restoring most of the truck and then I'm gonna lower it a little and add some 20's. So far I'm really enjoying the truck. I'll stop rambling and show ya'll some pics. Let me know what you think....
