On my 85 C10 stepside Im looking to get it lowered maybe even slammed. Id love some ideas or pics of what you have done or know about. Im even debating going with air ride but not sure about any of this. Please give me some advice.
Thanks

you gotta be more specific if you want ideas and they are pretty standard requirements when lowered regardless of if it is static or air.

If I were gonna go air, I would build a custom chasis. C-notch is good but not necessary if you're doing a flip with GOOD springs. Lowering spindles and 1 inch drop coils look just right imo. If you really want to slam it I would do air but be prepared to be very invasive and creative. I think it's ugly to have anything permanently mounted or protruding through the bed but that's just personal taste though. Do what's right for you but think about what you want it to be in the end before you start.

BTW, if you seriously want to slam one. Look at Porterbuilt, they have bolt-in pieced for the front/rear that will put on on the ground.

Well ive talked to a few people about this and I guess I just want a nicer lower stance that rides nice. I dont want it to beat me to death going up the road. It has 15" rims on it and im looking for some 20" to put on it. I just want a nice stance on them with a really good ride.
