Here's my recently acquired 85 GMC 1500 Sierra. It sports traditional wagon wheels, tube grille, and the whole thing is complimented with subtle hints of surface rust. The pictures below are of the day I brought it home.

I drive this thing about 150-200 miles a day. It wears the cap in the background of the first pic under the crane. Today it got a fresh coat of rattle-can flat black(cap and all). When my pointer finger heals i'll clean up the ralleys that I picked up this week. I'll post pics when I get tires and have them mounted.
Oh yeah, it was free!!

Its worth that at twice the price. Good score.

For the price tag I would have taken it too. The rear bumper looks like it is in fantastic shape. Lots of work otherwise. But nice score.

Nice to see that stepside getting put to work towing home your latest find. Good luck with it.

Thanks guys. Believe it or not, there aren't any dents in it. The bed is probably the worst part of it. There are rust holes above and behind the wheel openings, surface rust on the roof, tops of the fenders, and at the bottom of the passenger door. Very minor. The rear bumper isn't too bad but the front will need replacing. I've already replaced the mirrors with a flawless stainless pair from the junkyard for $30. Thanks for looking.

I mentioned a while ago that I lowered this truck and just now got around to taking pics.
This is the before:

It dropped 4 1/4" in the front and 3" in the rear. I think next time i'll order a taller front tire to fill up the wheel well a little. Rides like a Caddy probably because of the springs being a little old.
PS: I know the cap is fugly but it keeps the tools dry and semi-safe. lol

A little old school pinstriping on the hood and tailgate, red wheels. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm I need one.

That looks great!! What size tires are you running on it now? Love the painted ralley's!

Love the Sticker!

Thanks, the thought crossed my mind about the wheels. I still may do a gloss black pinstripe.

Thanks, I had 275-50's already but ran into problems removing them from the jellybean mags so I had to get new ones >:(. I ended up getting 255-60's for the rear and 205-60's for the front. I should've got a taller tire(like Chop suggested) for the front but had a brain fart when I ordered them.
Love the Sticker!
Thanks Capt, when I get a real job the cap will come off and all my tools will come out. When that happens, I have that third decal to sport on the back window.
