Good morning, I have a Suburban grille swap on my '82 Chevy truck. My headlight buckets are missing the plastic headlight connector retaining clips.
Does anyone know if a company makes these in repro...or have any ideas how I can keep my head lights clipped in tighter?

I got replacements at Autozone in the "Help" section

I hit Oreilly's this afternoon and had no luck in finding them either. They didn't even have a label or a peg for them :(

Nah, not those Chris.....those are adjusters...and easy to find. I'm talking about the plastic piece that's attached to the back of the Surburban headlight buckets.....the piece that keeps the wire clip tightly attached to the headlight bulb itself.

Anyone have any luck finding these???

I don't know of anywhere you can get those new. Many donors in the junk yard, though.

Not in my neck of the woods.....seems like everyone destroyed these little pieces of plastic ???

To clarify, you aren't talking about clips that hold the headlight in, you are talking about the connector on the back of the headlight that supplies power to the headlight. If this is the case, they should stay on there if the connectors exist.

I thought I had clarified what I was looking for? In any case, the pic that you posted Chris is the headlight bucket adjusters. I realize that these clips on the back of the buckets SHOULD be there.... but obviously like alot of parts on our trucks they are missing and need replaced.

Can you show us a pic of what you are talking about for sure. Even if its a broken one. Someone may have an old core support with them on it that are good. I have 3 extra core supports, but I am not sure what you need.

FRom what I know I believe these are an '89-'91 Suburban only piece....at least that's what I've seen so far. This is not a core support item. This is a plastic retaining strap piece that keeps the headlight connector end attached to the headlight bucket so that the headlight connector won't vibrate loose.

I know what I posted I sell them. Based on what everyone is posting is they don't know what you are looking for so I was describing what you are looking for so everyone will know.
You want the electrical connectors that go on the wiring harness that clips to the back of the headlamp.
It is pictured here, GM used to have them, haven't checked in years (last time I got some) They are 89-91 Suburban, Blazer/Jimmy/ 3/4T-1T R/V truck Silverado Trim specifc.

Chris, see that little U shaped black plastic clip on the "Hi-Lo Beam" electrical connector end? THAT's the piece that I need......not the actual end.....just that piece that's behind the connector that keeps it locked into the headlamp bucket.
This piece I need is not attached to the actual connector......
