When my engine has run long enough for it to warm up it makes a ticking sound under the passengers side valve cover. I adjusted the valves...it went away but the truck was skipping. It's a very faint "tick" but I can hear it most when I slow down to a stop. Is there a way to find out exactly which one is making noise...like the screwdriver trick? Could it be oil pressure or viscosity? Any tips will help.
